Since 1966 the proceedings of ITH Conferences are published in edited volumes.
Up until the 23rd Linz Conference (1987), the entire conference minutes were published. The minutes were edited as a proper series (“Geschichte der Arbeiterbewegung / ITH-Tagungsberichte”) at the Europaverlag publishing house in Vienna. The minutes of the 4th, 5th and 7th Linz Conference have never been published.
From 1988 to 1993 selected contributions of the Linz Conferences were published in the series “Materialien zur Geschichte der Arbeiterbewegung” edited by the Ludwig-Boltzmann-Institut für Geschichte der Arbeiterbewegung.
From 1994 to 1997 the Conference Proceedings were printed in Hungary and published by the ITH and the German publishing house Calenberg Press Garbsen (Volume 30-32).
Starting with volume 33 (Linz Conference 1997), the Conference Proceedings were published until volume 47 (Linz Conference 2012) at the Akademische Verlagsanstalt Leipzig.
In 2013 the ITH decided to publish selected conference contributions in English within a peer-reviewed edition as part of a cooperation project at Brill.
